Emma Godleman of The Mandeville School Wins Prestigious ‘New Teacher of the Year’ Award at the 2025 Buckinghamshire School Awards

The Mandeville School is delighted to announce that Emma Godleman, Teacher of Art and Design, has been named New Teacher of the Year at the 2025 Buckinghamshire School Awards.

This well-deserved accolade recognises Emma’s passion, creativity, and commitment to inspiring students through the arts. Since joining our school, Emma has made a remarkable impact on the school community — not only through her high-quality teaching, but also through the energy, care and innovation she brings to every lesson.

Emma said:

“I am honestly blown away with winning this amazing award. Thank you so much to everyone at The Mandeville School, The Insignis Trust, my family and friends. Without all of you, I wouldn’t be the teacher I am today. The awards evening was brilliant and it was profound to be surrounded by so many talented and knowledgeable professionals. It is great that evenings like this happen; teaching can be very challenging and having the recognition for all the work we do, means the world to all of us — especially me.”

The Buckinghamshire School Awards celebrate excellence across the education sector, shining a spotlight on individuals and teams who go above and beyond to enrich the lives of young people. Emma’s recognition is a reflection not only of her individual efforts, but also of the collaborative spirit that runs through The Mandeville School.
