Key Stage 3 - Years 7, 8 (and 9)

Every student in Key Stage 3 will complete 2 hours of PE per week.  Students will cover 10 topics per year and are challenged to improve their practical performance.  Students will also develop their understanding of sports and be able to use basic tactics and strategies along with the ability to evaluate performances.  Each year students will undertake a fitness module which is designed to allow students to experience a range of training methods and the impact both long and short term exercise has on the body.  Students will also learn the importance of health and the role PE contributes to the leading of a healthy active lifestyle.  Through the PE Curriculum students will develop the core values of teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline and sportsmanship.

Key Stage 4 - Years (9), 10 and 11

Students have the choice of 2 subjects, Physical Education GCSE or Health & Fitness V Cert.

Key Stage 5 - Years 12 and 13 (Sixth Form)

Students can study through the Bucks Sport Academy or by choosing AS/A Level PE.
