Bucks and MK School Games

Posted 10th Jul

Thursday marked our first and only inter-school competition of the Summer Term, the Bucks and MK School Games.

Traditionally this event sees both primary and secondary schools from across the county and Milton Keynes meet at Stoke Mandeville Stadium to compete in a variety of different sports such as athletics, netball and tag rugby. However, this year the event took a virtual format with students being able to take part in a variety of challenges from eight different sports whether at home or at school. Unfortunately the Great British weather was not on our side, but our key worker students were very determined to be the best that they could be at each event. These events included 50m sprint, standing long jump, shot put, fabulous cricket fielder, football keep-ups and tennis forehand challenge.

The PE team wants to say a huge congratulations to all that took part and we await the final scores to see where Team Mandeville came against the other community schools.
