Personal, Social, Health, Citizenship and Economic Education (PSHCE) equips students with the knowledge, understanding, attitudes and skills to live healthy, safe, productive and responsible lives. It encourages them to be enterprising and supports them in making effective transitions, positive learning and career choices and in managing their finances effectively.
PSHCE is taught as part of the Tutorial programme and covers such topics as relationships (including sex education), government and democracy, the local and global community, careers information, personal finance and drugs and alcohol education. In addition, students are encouraged to take part in activities which support a variety of charities and other local community events at appropriate times.
If your child is absent from school for any reason, please contact the Attendance Officer at the start of every day of absence until your child returns.A note from parents will be required on return to school.
