Key Stage 3 - Years 7, 8 (and 9)

Science follows the activate scheme of work which starts in Year 7 with basic topics such as cells, particles and forces. Over the rest of Year 7 and the beginning of Year 8 the students will continue to study interesting content such as light, metals and acids and about ecosystems. They will then spend the rest of Year 8 on topics that are designed to put Science into context and bring different ideas together. This will help them develop higher thinking skills whilst also inspiring them with amazing discoveries and inventions.

Key Stage 4 - Years (9), 10 and 11

All students study Science (Double).  Triple Science is available as an Option Subject.
