Posted 22nd Jul

If you have not collected your 2017 examination results, these are available on request from the Exams Office. Monday to Thursday, between the hours of 9am and 3pm.

If you are collecting results on behalf of a student (even if you are a parent/carer) you will need to bring a letter of authorisation signed by the student in question and a form of personal ID.

Examination certificates are expected to be available in November. We will announce on the school website when they are ready for collection.  Students who have provided the school with an e-mail address will also be notified by e-mail.

Arrangements for First Days Back in September

We will have a staggered start in September.

We invite Years 7, 11 and Sixth Form for their first day on Wednesday 6th September.

Years 7 and 12 should arrive at normal time - 8.25am.
Year 11 are to arrive for 9.35pm (period 2) for an assembly. They should make their way to the main hall entrance and line up as usual in their Tutor Groups.
Year 12 enrolment is from 8.25am. The rest of the Sixth Form should please arrive at 9.35am.
Lessons for all will begin after break for period 3.

On day two, Thursday 7th September, every year group should be back for the normal start at 8.25am. There will be a Year 10 assembly at 8.25am, Year 9 assembly at 8.40am and Year 8 assembly at 9.05am. Lessons for all year groups will begin at period 2 - 9.35am.

The staggered start worked well last year and gives our newcomers a chance to have a full day before all of the other ‘bodies’ arrive on the Thursday when everyone is back in – smart, refreshed and ready for learning - for a normal school day.
Staff will be enthusiastically preparing for the new academic year on the two Inset Days on Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th September.

Mandeville's New School Day

We are very excited about introducing our new curriculum model with a three year GCSE and BTEC programme. There are some changes that will be necessary to our current school day. The envelope of Mandeville's day will ostensibly remain the same - 8.25am start and 2.45pm or 3.00pm finish for students in 'focus time'
